Orbea Semota (Bare Rooted)

Orbea Semota is an intriguing succulent plant originally known as Stapelia Variegata. This succulent plant belongs to South Africa. It is a fascinating addition to any collection of succulents because of its well-known star-shaped, mottled flowers and unusual growing habits. With thick, pointed stems, Orbea Semota is a low-lying, sprawling succulent. Usually green, these stems can turn scarlet in strong sunshine. The plant bears beautiful yellow and maroon mottling in the form of star-shaped blooms. To entice pollinators like flies, these flowers release a subtle scent reminiscent of carrion.

Orbea Semota prefers bright, indirect sunlight to grow to its maturity. This plant can also tolerate some direct sunlight. Burning could result from too much direct sunshine. Water this beautiful succulent plant after some time. Do not over-water this plant because overwatering can damage its roots and can cause root rot in plants. Make use of a soil mixture intended for succulents and cacti that drains effectively. This plant prefers warm weather; it should never fall below 50°F.

Orbea Semota is a great ornamental plant for homes and gardens because of its unusual star-shaped blossoms and spreading growth. Its low maintenance requirements make it perfect for beginners.
