Monkey Tail Cactus (Bare Rooted)

The Monkey Tail Cactus is a distinctive species of cactus unique to Bolivia. Formally, it is known as Cleistocactus Colademononis. It's a distinctive and lovely addition to any plant collection because of its long, trailing stems coated in soft, white spines that resemble a monkey's tail. The cylindrical, trailing stems of this cactus can reach a maximum length of 8 feet. It seems fuzzy because of the thick, white, hair-like spines covering the stems. The Monkey Tail Cactus's vivid red or pink tubular flowers, which bloom during the blooming season, enhance its aesthetic appeal.

Monkey Tail Cactus prefers bright, indirect sunlight for growth. It can also withstand some direct sunlight, it should be shielded from the strong afternoon sun. Use water sparingly, allowing the soil to become dry in between water applications. Rotten roots might result from overwatering. Make use of a well-draining soil mixture made especially for succulents and cacti. Warm weather is ideal for this cactus, and it should be kept above 50°F to prevent frost damage.

The Monkey Tail Cactus is a great option for hanging baskets or as a visually arresting indoor plant because of its unusual trailing stems and vibrant blossoms. Because of its low maintenance needs, it is appropriate for both inexperienced and seasoned gardeners. In conclusion, the monkey tail cactus is an interesting, low-maintenance plant that adds charm to any plant collection with its unique trailing stems and low care requirements. Monkey Tail Cactus is sold as bare-rooted. Get your Monkey Tail Cactus from Secculent now!
